Good all around shock
I was looking for a daily driver suspension setup for my wife's TT. I am a bilstein fan and she didn't mind the ride in MK IV era vehicles (FWD VWs) but she wanted a little less "jarring" on the small bumps/pot holes. I think that this set-up has met this criteria. Around little bumps and stuff it feels like a touring shock but once loaded in a turn or similar it feel more like a Bilstein HD. Surprised me.

Make sure you get the correct bolts for the rear suspension they are a PITA to find and I had to order from the VW dealer or Fastenal. Replace the front sway bar bushing...but be prepared for frustration on the driver side. Also don't forget to check the suspension x-links. These are usually gone by ~75k.

If you are looking for a good all around suspension set-up for a MkI TT
